Hatcher Components have seen a surge in sales for their economic sleeper conversion, Shuteye. Shuteye is designed for those looking for a budget sleeper option.

The unit folds down from the bulkhead giving operators a chance to take 40 winks, or a deeper sleep if travelling long distances.

Feedback from customers has revealed with ongoing uncertainty due to Covid 19 they are concerned that drivers might not find a hotel or lodge room for the night. Many operators, have been kept busy during the Covid outbreak, but a number of hotels or lodges have closed, or have restricted capacity. Shuteye guarantees a bed, should it prove difficult for drivers to overnight accommodation.

Alongside the attractive price tag Shuteye also takes up next to nothing in cargo space when closed, or payload. Weight is just 35kg and when shut it increases bulkhead width by only 150 mm.
